Crystal Castles: la band si scioglie

mprovviso, inaspettato. Stamattina l'annuncio è arrivato direttamente dal profilo facebook di Alice Glass, metà femminile della band, che con queste parole ha reso pubblico lo scioglimento del duo elettronico di Toronto:

I am leaving Crystal Castles. My art and my self-expression in any form has always been an attempt towards sincerity, honesty, and empathy for others. For a multitude of reasons both professional and personal I no longer feel that this is possible within CC. Although this is the end of the band, I hope my fans will embrace me as a solo artist in the same way they have embraced Crystal Castles.

Questo è tutto quello che sappiamo finora è che le ragioni sono tante e Alice Glass va alla ricerca di nuove modalità di espressione per la sua arte, non ci resta che attendere gli sviluppi.

Nel frattempo una lacrimuccia ci scende per forza.
