Parla Jamie Smith: "Il nuovo dei The xx è in dirittura d'arrivo"

Belle notizie dal fronte The xx, in una recentissima intervista a The Fader Jamie xx ha infatti rivelato importanti news riguardo il nuovo disco della band ma non solo.

Riguardo il nuovo lavoro del gruppo ha detto:

"We've got quite a lot of songs that are not finished, but I'm excited about it. It feels a lot more free than when we were making the last record."

Insomma, i pezzi ci sono ma vanno completati e le sensazioni sono buone.

Le belle notizie non si fermano però al nuovo LP dei The xx. Il produttore londinese ha infatti rilasciato importanti dichiarazioni anche riguardo il suo debutto solista.

"There's one track where I need to get the vocal on, but I don't know who the vocalist is going to be yet. I never really listen to lyrics, but I can understand [them] a little bit more when it's spoken word rather than singing. It gets to my head a bit quicker."

Il primo lavoro solista di Jamie xx sembra essere quindi ancor più in dirittura d'arrivo, manca il vocalist per una traccia ma il resto è a posto.

Insomma, le buone prospettive ci sono, non resta che attendere il nuovo prodotto di una delle realtà musicali più interessanti degli ultimi anni.

Nel mentre possiamo comunque gustarci uno dei loro pezzoni.
